Appointments: If you wish to make an appointment at the clinic, please call us on (03) 9481 5744. We would prefer that you did not use email because email can be unreliable, and we cannot adequately determine the urgency of your problem. For specific enquiries to Alphington Exercise + Rehabilitation Centre, please call (03) 9482 5211. We now send SMS messages confirming consultation appointments. If you are unable to attend an appointment or class, please give us at least 24 hours notice to avoid a potential cancellation fee.

On the day: We recommend that for your appointment you wear or bring clothing that makes the assessment process easier. We do everything to accommodate our patients but in order to be as thorough as possible we generally require an unobstructed view of the injured area and/or adequate mobility of the part to perform an accurate assessment. This may include bringing along a pair of shorts for a lower limb injury or singlet top for an upper limb injury.

We also suggest you bring with you any scans and reports, such as xrays, MRIs, etc to your consultation. Please inquire with our friendly reception staff if you have any questions.

Referrals: As of November 2011, a GP referral is required to make appointments with Dr. Andrew Garnham, Dr. David Bolzonello and Dr Krishant Naidu as they are specialists. This also applies to paediatric appointments with Dr. Peter Barnett and appintments with our Orthopaedic Surgeons. Appointments with our Sports Medicine Registrars and for any other service, do not require one.

Email: As stated above, please do not use email to make or change an appointment. Please also note, that it is not advisable to contact practitioners via email. If you have a query, please call the clinic.

Prices: Because prices are dependent on the time it takes for your consultation (determined by the type of condition and treatment required) we cannot give you a set price list. Please speak to one of our receptionists for more information. Please note, appointments for Sunday's attract different fees. Again, please contact reception for details. If you are unable to attend an appointment or class, please give us at least 24 hours notice to avoid a potential cancellation fee.

Payment: We would prefer you to pay for your consultation on the day. An account keeping fee may be applied at our discretion if you do not pay. We accept cash, cheque, eftpos and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). We also have Hicaps facilities for you to claim your private health insurance rebate on the spot.

Available Items For Purchase: We stock a variety of therabands, tubings, bandages, tapes, braces, heel raises, wheat bags, and exercise equipment including massage balls, foam rollers, wobble boards and fitballs. We can also order most items for you.

Where to find us: We are located at 339 Heidelberg Road, Northcote, opposite Fairfield Park. There is parking available at the front and back (Westgarth St) of the building. Bus no. 546 from Heidelberg to Melbourne University stops in front of the building, and we are a 10 minute walk from Fairfield train station. Alphington Exercise + Rehabilitation Centre is located across the road from the clinic at 376 Heidelberg Rd, Fairfield.
