We’ve recently added two new pieces of equipment to our Exercise + Rehabilitation Area – The ForceFrame and the NordBoard.

Our Physiotherapists can use these to test the upper and lower body strength of a patient – including hip, knee, shoulder, ankle, hamstring and neck muscle groups.

Both combine advanced sensors and provide real-time results and analytics for testing muscle strength and imbalance.

They can be used for:

  • evaluating and monitoring a patient
  • prescribing and performing isometric training
  • managing load, modulating pain and objectively quantifying rehabilitation progress.

More information on each piece of equipment can be found below.

For an appointment with one of our Physiotherapist, who's trained to use this equipment for patient evaluation and ongoing treatment, please call 9481 5744 and speak to our friendly reception staff.

For isometric strength testing and training across upper and lower body.

Combining advanced sensors with real-time results and analytics, the ForceFrame is a versatile and portable system for testing muscle strength and imbalance, as well as for prescribing and performing isometric training.

Used by high-performance team to evaluate and monitor their athletes, as well as for managing load, modulating pain and objectively quantifying rehabilitation progress.

Allows a practitioner to measure and train strength in 35+ different positions and muscle groups.

ForceFrame can be quickly and easily adjusted to test isometric strength in upper and lower body – including hip, knee, shoulder, ankle and neck muscle groups.

Combining advanced sensors, real-time data visualisation and cloud analytics, the NordBord is a comprehensive system for accurately quantifying and monitoring hamstring strength and imbalance.

Practitioners use the NordBord to measure, improve and understand hamstring strength and injury risk.

With its simple, easy-to-use design, the NordBord can be used to quickly measure hamstring strength and imbalance in a range of positions and exercises.
