    How and when did you become involved with the Bulldogs?

    I first became involved with the Western Bulldogs at the end of 2014 in preparation for the 2015 AFL season. Then in 2016, when the AFL established an AFLW program, I joined the club’s medical team who also care for the AFLW football department.

  • We’ve Turned 40!

    Did you know that was it this week way back in 1981 that Alphington Sports Medicine Clinic first opened its doors!

     

    Established by Peter and Katherine Harcourt (both still current Directors), then later joined by Jill Cook and Steve Evans (dec.), the original Clinic was in Wingrove Street, near Alphington station.  It offered only Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy. At the time, Sports Medicine barely existed as a discipline and there were no guidelines as to how it should be done. Alphington was a trail blazer!

    I became involved with the Carlton Football Club in 2017. For the first 3 years, I was only working during the week for their training sessions but in 2020 I also became a game day trainer as well.
