Sport & Exercise Medicine Registrar Dr Carlee Van Dyk has just returned from Bulgaria, where she was working at the U23 World Rowing Championships.

We asked her to tell us a bit about the experience . . . . 

When and how did you become involved with the Rowing & the U23 World Championships?

Sport & Exercise Medicine Physician Dr Liam West and Physiotherapist Madeleine Thompson have just returned from working at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Now that they are back from Birmingham we asked them to tell us a bit about the experience . . . .

How did your involvement with the 2022 Commonwealth Games come about and what was your role?

Sport and Exercise Physician Dr David Bolzonello recently presented Additional Education sessions on Incident Management & Concussion for both the Northern Football Netball League (NFNL) and the Essendon District Football League (EDFL).

He would like to thank the Leagues for the opportunity to speak to their sports trainers and hopes those who attended found the tips useful.

How and when did you become involved with the Australian Cricket Team?

When and how did you become involved with the Magpies?

With the 2020 Suncorp Super Netball season now complete, we chatted with Alphington Sports Medicine Clinic’s Sport & Exercise Medicine Registrar Dr Samantha May about her involvement with the Premiership winning Melbourne Vixens.

Firstly, congratulations on the incredible 2020 Season at the Melbourne Vixens. Can you describe what it meant to you to be part of this Premiership winning team?

With the 2019/20 A-League season now complete, we chatted with Alphington Sports Medicine Clinic’s Specialist Sport & Exercise Medicine Physician Dr David Bolzonello about his involvement in the club’s inaugural year of competition.

How and when did you become involved with the WUFC and A-League?

Unfortunately we are no longer offering our Sport & Exercise Physician Service at Warringal Medical Centre.

Why you ask?

Because Dr David Bolzonello will now be spending his Monday mornings with the players at the Melbourne Football Club where he's been appointed as a Senior Club Doctor!

But don't worry - appointments are still available with him at our Clinic on Mondays (pm), Tuesdays (pm), alternate Thursdays (pm) and Fridays.
