In line with the State Government’s most recent announcement on the easing of COVID restrictions, the following changes will come into effect at our Clinic from tomorrow morning (Friday 11 June):
In accordance with the Victorian Government's most recent announcement on the return to mandatory mask wearing in all indoor settings – As of 6pm tonight, Tuesday 25 May, all patients are required to wear a mask when on our premises. This includes when in Exercise Classes, and when social distancing can be adhered to (unless you have an exemption).
In line with the recent easing of COVID restrictions by the Victorian Government, it is no longer mandatory for patients to wear a mask on our premises. But we do still encourage their use when physical distancing is not possible (e.g. during consultations).
In line with the State Government’s latest announcement, all services at Alphington Sports Medicine Exercise + Rehabilitation will resume tomorrow, Thursday 18 February, including our Group Exercise Classes.
So, it’s back to business as (COVID) normal with masks required on premises**.
In line with the State Government’s announcement of a 5-day lockdown and return to Stage 4 restrictions, the following changes have been put in place at Alphington Sports Medicine Exercise + Rehabilitation.

All practitioners continue to wear surgical grade masks, and gloves will be worn when clinically appropriate. All reception and administration staff continue to wear surgical grade masks also.
In accordance with the Victorian Government's most recent announcements on mask wearing, we have made some changes to our practices and procedures at Alphington Sports Medicine Clinic - for patients and staff.
