At Alphington Sports Medicine Clinic we understand that your pain and movement is as unique as your fingerprint, and have therefore embraced cutting edge clinical technology - ViMove.

ViMove, developed by DorsaVi, uses wireless sensor technology to measure movement and muscle activity of the lower back and legs. This allows our Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Rebecca Hallam, to obtain a better understanding of the unique features of your movements and postures that may be contribute to injuries, pain, or performance issues.

Using this device she can:

  • help you manage a range of issues including back & knee pain and running related injuries
  • assess running styles & body movement in order to enhance technique & performance for a range of athletes.

Discrete, easy to fit sensors are placed on your body and record movement both in and away from the clinic. This allows them to see how your body responds to daily activities and exercise to pinpoint potential areas of concern.
