Gordon Pritchard (physio) recently travelled as physio to the Men & Ladies Victorian Cricket Squads for the 2015 Imparja Cup - National Indigenous Cricket Tournament. He has kindly provided us with an update.

The Imparja Cup has been running since 1994 and started as a cricket match between Alice Springs and Tennant Creek with the purpose of the event to promote Indigenous cricket in the Northern Territory. It later became supported by Cricket Australia and became officially recognised as a national competition.

Gordon traveled with the Men & Ladies Victorian cricket squads.

The men finished the round robin stage on top of the ladder, but lost in the semi-final to Queensland. WA went on to beat QLD in the final. It is the first time they have ever made a final. The ladies made the final (also the first time they have made a final) and lost to NSW (who have won the last 8 Imparja Cups).
